The Dye Benion Unit 297 American Legion promotes flag etiquette, put flags up in the cemetery, do military rites at funerals, lead parades, send boys to Boys State and pancake breakfasts.

Linn County Community Services.  Core Services organizes and participates in many community human services activities and collaborations. One of those collaborations is the Community Resources Committee, which engages more than 30 different organizations, annually reviews and updates resources.
