For Children

Programs and services especially for children. LEARNING IS FREE AT LIBRARIES PASS IT ON

The Center Point Public Library provides a warm and welcoming environment for children of all ages.  We believe that if children read, the world is at their fingertips.

The staff makes every effort for the experience of our youngest patrons to be positive and fun at the Center Point Public Library.  We are encouraging the lifelong habit of library usage.

We offer multi-cultural and multi-generational programming to fit the needs of our community.  Much of the story time programming relates to the changing seasons, holidays, special days, nature and animals.  During the school year, Tuesday story time works through the alphabet, featuring titles beginning with a different letter each week.

The Center Point Public Library offers an extensive summer reading program to help young people retain their reading skills.  Following the nationwide summer program theme, we tap into local talent to explore new worlds.

Library materials may be checked out with signed permission of parent or guardian.

Story Time

We have two story times each week in the Center Point Public Library.
They are at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Watch our web site and facebook page for additional programs.

Public Computer Lab

Children age 9 and up may use the public computers after having a computer agreement signed by their parent or guardian as well as themselves.  Children under the age of 9 must have parental supervision to be in the computer lab.
