Statewide Database Changes New online databases is now available to all public and academic libraries in Iowa. The new databases include a database of journal articles and reference sources, an auto repair database, a research skills database, and a language & learning database. This package of databases will replace all EBSCOhost databases currently provided to libraries. This will not change our Learning Express Library statewide contract.

All of these tools are available to you at no cost from The Andersen Center Point Library.

    Powersearch

Power Search gives you access to all of the databases that we subscribe to. Power Search allows you to choose which databases you want to search. For example you may be researching the U.S.'s role in WWII. In this case you may want to search the Military and Intelligence, US History, War and Terrorism, and possibly the World History databases simultaneously while excluding the Culinary Arts database. By default there are only a few databases searched but you can change which databases to look in by clicking the "Change Databases" link at the top of the screen.
