Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access, Microsoft Office suites 2003 & 2007 and Family Lawyer.

  • We have eight public computers with high speed internet access.
  • All computers have either office 2003 or office 2007 professional loaded on them.
  • Public computers do not have speakers, but headphones are available for checkout at the front desk.
  • Patrons must relinquish computers after one hour if there is a waiting list.
  • If you are job hunting or doing homework the time limit may be extended.
  • All users must sign an internet agreement before they use the computers.  There is a clipboard on the counter by the door to the computer room to log in each time you use a computer.  Please sign out on the clipboard when you are finished in the computer lab.
  • The library does not save the names of user each day, but we do track the number of users each day.
  • None of our computers have filtered access.  Library policy states that viewing obscene material considered pornography is prohibited and you may loose your access privileges by breaking policy.
  • Children under the age of nine (9) must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Parental permission is required for children under the age of seventeen (17) to use the computers.
