About Friends

Who we are...

Friends of the Center Point Public Library is a group of your friends and neighbors in the community

who value reading and understand the importance of literacy in our society.

 What we do...

Friends promote community awareness of the library and provide additional funds for library programs

     and equipment.

Why...

Tax dollars provide income for the basic needs of our library (facilities, salaries, books).  Community support

is essential for funding additional needs.  We anticipate that the needs of our beautiful new facility will grow

faster than the library's current budget will allow.

 When and Where...

Friends meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Andersen Center Point

     Public Library.
